A man sits at the table
Staring into his beer for a long time
he sits all day from dusk till dawn
In the pub across the road
There are so many thoughts,
so many pictures
being spinning trough his head
he has seen many countries
and even more people
his former life on the road

At the time I was in school
where I had a friend
we jammed around from day to night
he on the drums, me at the guitar
it was love at the first sight
We played Offspring, Adams, Purple and Roses
AC/DC, CCR and Ugly Fish Blow
But when school was over, he quit the band
He had to work - Ah, you don't say so

You can get everything, if you want it
Believe in yourself, don´t give up
No matter what the others want,
Believe me they´re all just dump
Hold on tho your weirdest dreams!
